Apparently this guy's name was Raymond Spencer and he was Filipino-American. The implication in the story was that he was black, but this isn't the case.
I think the wokesters use the term "people of color" in this case. But he wasn't black.
It baffles me the hoops that woke-tards use to manipulate language to soften and smooth it into something indistinguishable. See "Latinx", which apparently Hispanics hate.
Have been to the Negro Baseball Hall of Fame in Kansas City, and they use the term "Negro" proudly.
