I can't believe I did not sense this from this person whom I have known or thought I knew for about 20 years. In conversation he mentioned that he had cancelled his Netflix about two months ago. I asked why, since I enjoy the family plan on Netflix and think their offerings are pretty good. Friend: " just got tired of their bullshit movies and documentaries." Like what, I asked. " Like all those anti-Hitler documentaries and all those "woke" series and movies. My brain went into tizzy right then. I can't even begin to relate the rest of the conversation.

As I think back over some of our conversations and small talk over the years I can now see clearly what I missed and dismissed as freedom of thought and different strokes for different folks. I can't prove it but I have a strong feeling that there is a RW movement that is trying to "cancel" any culture except their RW-alter reality-culture. I think Netflix is being Disney-ed right now. What is happening to Disney in FL is creeping into Netflix and other popular streaming services.

My advice, copy and download what you can. It may not be accessible later. Tell me I am wrong...I hope I am.

DUmmie needs to study more bouncy's.  There are a whole slew of key words the DUmmies use to describe the vile conservative animals in the wild.

It's part of their plan - take over the schools, keep people dumb and ignorant/unaware.

Any corporation that doesn't toe that fascist line, or dares to provide thought-provoking info and truth will be punished.

I don't think I could be friends with someone who considers an anti-Hitler documentary to be "bullshit". He must have either been looking for those "bullshit movies" or was told to do that. I've had netflix for years and have never seen them

I don't know why their subscribers fell off.  If it was the Russian accounts they dropped, then that's what it was.  Maybe, just maybe some of those who left don't like the 'woke' agenda Netflix has been putting off for a few years now, like the show Cuties.  WTF was that show allowed on there?  I didn't watch it, but what I read about it sounded like candy for pedos.

I guess one could choose to watch one of several documentaries about the WW2-era, including the West German 1977 documentary, "Hitler, A Career", but I doubt there are many sub rosa Hitler fans out there, such as this LPC Noob's probably fictional friend of 20 years. The problem with the anti-Hitler documentaries on Netflix is that there’s too many of them. I like history of all time periods and I’ll watch WW2 docs, but the majority are the same info presented only slightly different. So I can see what this primitives former friend means when he says he’s tired of them.

I think this is what riles up a lot of folks, myself included.  If we were to believe what we see in just commercials, you'd think that fully 50% of American homes are interracial, and the other 50% are homosexual.  Rare is the time you see a black family with kids, a white family with kids, an Asian family with kids, etc.

I was going to do a study one time of just my own observations of what the family makeup was on the commercials I saw over a period of time, but I have better things to do.

IMO, Netflix made the poor decision to get "edgier" with their programming about the time the market started becoming saturated with streaming options.  Just at a glance, you've got PrimeVideo, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount and several others. When they put up shows like "Cuties", and decide to 'Retcon' iconic genres like Archie (Riverdale) they tend to drive people away that are seeking less controversial viewing. 

We're currently watching a good bit of Hulu and PrimeVideo; still have the Netflix sub but no idea how much longer. Stranger Things S4 premiers at the end of May.

Viewers have myriad choices. Netflix made programming choices that led Netflix subscribers to unsubscribe. The point of DUmmie Samrob's is to broom-paint those unsubscribers as racist Neo-Nazis and racists.

I've noticed this for decades and not just in commercials.  Any company brochure has to show some sort of diversity even if 95% of the employees are white.  Symbolism over substance.
