Do these MFers even know who Dan Crenshaw is? Former Navy SEAL, three combat tours, two Bronze Stars, lost an eye in an IED explosion in Afghanistan.

And these little pissants, including the "comedian" who wrote that Tweet, are going to compare him unfavorably to Malcolm Nance, who spent all his time in intelligence, who I seriously doubt is out pounding the ground in Ukraine, but is probably advising their intelligence people? The same Malcolm Nance who insulted the U.S. military victims of a terrorist bombing in Afghanistan?

Malcom Nance served in the Navy from '81 through '01, in cryptology and as in instructor in SERE training (surviving being captured). Being age 60, having no familiarity with infantry tactics or weapons, and probably not speaking Ukrainian, his "suiting up" is a symbol at best.

"Lil’ Dan Crenshaw" was a SEAL and fought in Afghanistan. His eye patch is not affectation, he earned it the hard way.

A "devastating parallel" needs, first, to be parallel. NoelCaslerComedy's shtick was an irrelevant attack on a man vastly more honorable than NoelCaslerComedy.

Sorry for the bump, but I heard tonight on the Viva Frei/Barnes stream that Nance is, shall we say, having second thoughts?  :whatever:

That's nothing surprising, but this is a case that makes DU look colossally stupid (also not surprising), even by their standards.
