Biden releases tax return, reports paying 24.6 percent rate
Source: Politico

President Joe Biden and his wife paid $150,439 in federal income taxes on $610,702 in 2021 earnings, they said in a tax return released Friday.

That translates into an effective rate of 24.6 percent.

The Bidens also reported giving $17,394 to charity.

The release comes before the April 18 filing deadline, and it marks a continuation of what had been a decades-old tradition of presidents voluntarily releasing their tax returns that had been broken by former President Donald Trump.

See, I thought the rich, like the Bidens, who have income of over $600k but who have in-kind income of MILLIONS, should be taxed at 90%, like they claim people paid during the Eisenhower era.

Instead, DU is trumpeting this super-low average tax rate.

So they're full of shit: if you make, say, over $500k, your "fair share" according to DU is less than 25%. Not 90% or whatever they've droned on about for years.

Thanks, DUmmies. **** off now.

PS - if your average tax rate is < 25%, the portion of your income taxed at 90% marginal rate is really small, or the marginal tax rate on the first dollars earned is really tiny. So spare me, DUmmies.

.

This is what they are really "proud" of.

Make note of "voluntarily"  and "tradition", DUmmies. Not "required" like you buffoons claimed with Trump.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

But the crooked sob didn't pay a penny on the tens of millions he got under the table from Russia, China and the Ukraine.

It’s also embarrassing that on an income of over $600K they only gave $17,400 to charity. At minimum they should have given $60K.
