That is something that occurred to me earlier. Sarah Palin could provide more motivation for Hillary to help Obama get elected, and then work from the senate to undermine him, so she can run in 2012. If McCain wins, and decides 1 term is enough, then Clinton v. Palin? I think that is a no brainer.
I dont think so - I suspect Hillary's support will be about as empty-suited as Obama is himself. Consider this.
Hillary wanted her shot, and its obvious to all of us that the opportunity was Baracked away from her. She is 60 years old.
If Obama wins, she needs to hope for an unnatural disaster to have any shot at Presidency because if Obama is successful, he will be the nominee in 4 more years as well, If he fails the odds are Democrats in general will fail as well. thats 8 years. If Obama is successful for 8 years, she will need to hope that Biden elects to not run - if he does, he will probably get the nomination. 12 years. Worst case scenario is 16 years, making her 76 years old.
an Obama loss almost guarantees Hillary the Democratic nomination in 4 years, and most likely she will be facing off against Palin - an interesting match indeed.
