Be prepared for the bump

History says that the Republicans should get a bump in the polls from their convention. Personally, I am skeptical that they will due to the utter fiasco this week has been for them. Also, Obama's sizable bump may be due in part to independents getting their first look at Palin and running the hell away.

But there may very well be a bump. So we shouldn't panic.

This bonfire was just lit, and so the primitives haven't noticed it yet.

I'll check back with it later, after some primitives have been around.

The complete desperation to try to deny reality is so hilarious.
Dems this morning are saying (somewhat begrudgingly) what a great speech Gov. Palin gave yet these fools are still trying to convince themselves it never happened.

It fell off the map.

The DUmmies put too much emphasis into the Veep nominees.  Sure, it's what's happening now, but people vote for the top of the ticket, they vote for President.

This election is pretty simple to summarize:  People either want experience in the WH, in which case McCain will win, or they've decided that they want the other party in so bad that experience and competence doesn't matter, in which case B. Hussein will win.

I expect McCain to highlight his experience, and I expect B. Hussein to say he's has the fresh new ideas which offers change.  We'll see what happens.

What fiasco?  :mental: :mental: :mental:

It has only been a "fiasco" for the DUmmies, who are foaming at the mouth in their whining.

It fell off the map.

One of the two possible outcomes for posting something rational and relatively accurate on DU.  The other is tombstoning.

Actually, at this point the sizable bump is probably in Obama's trousers. The back, not the front.

The first thing the Obama camp said about Palin's speech? That someone else wrote it for her. The desperation...it's like they're sinking in quicksand and the only things to grasp at are straws...
