The bible is the problem...
The christfascists wait with baited 1. breath for the endtimes 2.. They want jesus to come back, because 1/3rd of all the jews will die( they hate jews) 3., 4. for the kingdom to return ,and just look at the perks..first all that violence as jesus gets revenge 5...
Christofascists can't wait to be royal priest kings and beat everyone they don't like with iron rods 6. because jesus said they offend him.
( Part of the perks of being gods 1. chosen is you can abuse 7. people and get blessed for it)
Heaven has transparent floors where you can see into hell and watch all that torture 8.. (Lazrus 1. and being unable to give him water because of the invisible barrier verses)
You get to see all those people you hate destroyed over and over and you can participate in the killings AND be a victim because you are a martyr too! 9.
Its a dark triad wet dream and they will destroy everything to get what they want 9.. Even if it is crazy. All that god like power and getting off on abuse of others all the time 9.. And they never noticed jesus does not want to rule this world 10.. But they'll bring back the dark ages if it will get jesus here to hand out rewards and crowns 11..
Christianity is a very ugly religion.
Both the sermon on the mount christians 14 and the christofascists interpret the bible correctly. There is no way to tell which things get you saved,is it by being kind or being sociopaths 12.? Good works or faith? Only god knows who gets picked to be in the heaven club.
Because the bible is contradictory and as about as clear as mud..and has be 1. rewritten over and over 13...through the ages interpreted and reinterpreted 13...
And it is is as much about violence and cruelty as it is about love and peace.
The bible IS the problem. And god is a 3 faced love bombing sociopath.
“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of” (Matthew 12:34; Luke 6:45).
Oy! I'll have to fisk this over time, a few falsehoods and distortions at a time.
1. Using the wrong choice from a homonym pair doesn't help the credibility of what follows. More English-grammar and -spelling slaughter follows, unsurprisingly.
2. I must have attended the "wrong" Evangelical churches for the past several decades, because I cannot remember the last time I heard a sermon concerning eschatology. It may have been decades ago.
Stereotype fail.3. While I've not heard an end times sermon in decades, way back in the mid 70s I read several "Late Great" books which teach a Dispensationalist Pre-Tribulation Pre-Millennial understanding of eschatology, which is probably what UGP is pretzellating beyond the breaking point. I do not recall any mentioning that a substantial number of Jews would die in the events of the last times. At. All. The only people I've heard speaking large numbers of Jews dying in the end times is Christian-haters.
I should add that the Dispensationalist Pre-Tribulation Pre-Millennial understanding of eschatology, while very visible courtesy of the 70s Late Great and 90s-00s Left Behind series books, is actually a minority understanding. There are Mid- and Post-Tribulation Pre-Millennial people. There are Post Millennial people. I think most Christians, knowingly or unknowingly, are of an Amillennial view. IOW, UGP is really ignorant of this area of Christian teaching and bases her pretzellation on just one of multiple views.
FWIW, after decades of thought, I'm a Pan-Millennialist. I know God is God, and it all pans out in the end.4. Paul, whom I'm sure UGP hates (or would if she knew of him) put very succinctly in 1 Corinthians chapter 13 the main reason Christians look forward to Jesus' return: seeing Jesus face to face.
When it comes to demonstrating DUmmie ignorance, I

mercilessly,

.
5. It's justice, not revenge. And it's justice because of people's choices, not Jesus' desire for their destruction.
6. This also isn't ringing a bell in my memory, but to whatever degree UGP has pretzellated Scripture, beating people with iron rods is not among my plans for eternity.
ETA: I did a concordance online on "iron". What UGP has pretzellated is Revelation 2:26-27, which speaks of believers who overcome ruling the nations with a rod (or scepter) of iron. "Rod of iron" and "earthen pots ... broken in pieces" are obvious metaphors, signifying strength. But UGP is just ignorantly parroting lies she's heard.
7. Justice isn't "abuse", but I can understand why UGP would feel justice is "abuse". She's rejected what God has said is right. Choices have consequences.
8. Revelation 21:9-21 describe the (new) Jerusalem, its walls, gates, etc.. While certain things are described as "transparent" (probably a metaphor for purity), nothing is said of the floors, nor of inhabitants of heaven seeing into Hell. Whoever UGP is parroting, (s)he thoroughly misunderstands and misrepresents Jesus' story of the rich man and Lazarus.
9. Ludicrously and unintelligibly false.
10. This is a thorough misinterpretation of The final temptation of the three temptations in Matthew 4. Jesus declined Satan's offers of the kingdoms of the world because that was not Jesus' mission at that time, and He would not worship anyone other than God. Jesus will rule when He returns, and that is one of the purposes of His return.
11. "Rewards and crowns" may be as they will, I didn't become a believer nor do I look forward to eternity for "rewards and crowns". I suppose greed is the "highest" motivation UGP can and wants to understand.
12. Actually, the Bible is rather clear about what is righteous and about salvation. Neither include UGP's fantasies about what the Bible teaches.
13. "Rewritten"? By whom and when? The oldest fragments of New Testament books date to the early 2nd Century, 100 years or less from Jesus' lifetime. There is a possible fragment from Matthew that has been dated to the mid 1st Century. These and the thousands of later 1st Millennium manuscripts are consistent with the Greek text used for modern translations, and vary in few points from the Textus Receptus used for the King James (or "Authorized") Version of 1611. As for the Old Testament, the manuscripts history is kind of interesting. Until around WW2, the oldest Hebrew manuscripts of the OT were from the 900s AD. The "Dead Sea Scrolls", which have been found starting in 1947 (with explorations still continuing) included OT manuscripts dated to the 100s BC, a ~1000 year leap. The bottom line is that in that very turbulent (for Jewish people especially!) 1000 years, the Hebrew manuscripts have been copied and re-copied and ... extremely accurately.
UGP and atheists like her want to believe that the Bible has been "rewritten over and over", but the evidence proves their wishful belief untrue.14 Maybe petty childish slights like not using upper-case first letters in names gets UGP off, but it just demonstrates
her character. It doesn't hurt/offend/affect Christian believers, and God and Jesus even less so.
Here endeth the
fisking.
