What contempt of congress debate?

Switched over to C-span just in time to see Raskin respond to some heckling from the other side of the aisle (likely MTG?). Then he proceeded with the contempt measure, or tried to. Instead of participating in any debate, the GOPers launched a parade of individual members seeking to switch focus to the southern border. Then McCarthy took time to further make a fool of himself, presenting a sad example of what today’s Republicans consider ‘leadership’. In the main, it’s clear that the GOPers have no interest in supporting the Jan6 committee’s function. One could almost get the idea that congressional GOPers fear exposure for their part in that heinous event. Almost

Those who have no interest in supporting it, know precisely what its function is, and know that justice has nothing to do with it.

This is all lingering butt-hurt from the 2016 election when President Trump beat Cankles like a rented mule.  They just can't get over it.

I agree, they'll never get over 2016.

But there are definitely efforts afoot with an eye toward Trump and 2024, as well.

It was probably hilarious to see Raskin getting heckled.  Hope I can catch it somewhere.

When one realizes that the Kommittee's sole purpose is to Get TRUMP, facts be damned, this statement, inadvertently, is true.

Contempt of Congress. Is this the part where the ****wits of the political class finally send their jack-booted flunkies around to collect folks like me for the FEMA camps? Because, I got NOTHING BUT utter contempt for Congress as an institution, as well as for each and every useless, mouth-breathing pinhead therein.
