Who?

Who?

MEDIA critic and writer Eric Boehlert was a well-known professional in the entertainment industry.

Who?

He previously held positions with Billboard, Media Matters for America, and Daily Kos.

Aside from his career as reporter and commentator, Eric was also an author.

He wrote the books Lapdogs: How The Press Rolled Over For Bush and Bloggers on the Bus: How The Internet Changed Politics and the Press.

Who?

"Worked at Rolling Stone, Billboard, founded Media Matters and Salon, Pressrun on Substack. Brutal to bad media on twitter, sweetest guy in real life."

"A terrible loss. We’ve lost an awesome human being, handsome/cool/witty dude who kicked ass on our behalf."

"Crazy devotion to facts, context and good reporting. Enemy of BS, fake news."

Never heard of him.

Using DUmmy logic, doesn't going around the crossing gates at a railroad crossing and then getting struck and killed by a train qualify you for a variation of a Darwin or Herman Cain award?  He didn't believe in the science of a train vs. guy on a bike collision and apparently didn't believe in traffic control devices.

Not sure why they’re upset. He’ll be voting Dem for the next 100 years.

But in the afterlife, he now knows he was politically wrong.

Per W'pedia, Eric Boehlert was struck by a train (while cycling)! Terminal stupidity? Fatal cluelessness? Suicide (Delacide?)?

Easy now.... don't be jumping to conclusions.

If he tests positive for COVID, I am sure that they will include it in the COVID death count, blame Republicans and bleat about how it even kills the healthy.

12. Frankly, there is no good reason not to imagine

such possibilities.

No DUmmies, he was hit by a commuter train.  So mass transit, which every lib will swear is essential to stop global warming, killed him.  He was sacrificed at the altar of climate change.

I've never understood how people, especially pedestrians or bicyclists, get hit by trains. You know the exact path they travel, there are warnings where they cross streets, they're big as, well, a train, they make hell's own noise with all the rumbling and clanging and banging and creaking and horn blowing.

It's not like they can sneak up on your ass like a Tesla in a parking lot.

Maybe his liberalism had metastasized and he decided to check out early rather than face a long and painful future.
