EarlG is an absentee owner to the degree of not keeping up with site security issues, that, ummmmmm, may not go well. A conservative discussion site I used to frequent/infest (
) had an absentee owner who did not keep up with forum SW security patches. It got hacked a few days before the November 2016 election, and he shut down the site. He did repairs, but didn't have the confidence to re-open the site until a few months later when he was in the process of selling the site. The new owner changed to a new, very dissimilar SW and after a couple of months I left. From what I've heard, that new owner has also become an absentee owner. How available he is when there are problems I haven't heard.
