when the President says he's releasing oil from the nation's reserve, does that oil get sold to oil companies for processing? How does that oil become gasoline? If it is sold how do they decide who gets the oil? Does each oil company get an equal share? Thanks

when the President says he's releasing oil from the nation's Strategic reserve, does that oil get sold to oil companies for processing? How does that oil become gasoline? If it is sold how do they decide who gets the oil? Does each oil company get an equal share? Thanks

Strategic reserve DUmbass not to be used for political purposes because high gas prices will hurt you in the midterms. :mad:

BTW DUmmy the used portion of the reserve will have to be replaced with oil purchased at twice the price that President Trump payed to fill it.

1. The purpose of the strategic reserve is to be a reserve for the US military in the event of war or some other crisis that impacts the supply of oil. Not for a President facing setbacks in a midterm election to try to mitigate the predictable consequences of his energy and foreign policies.

2. Unless LIEden's idiotic energy policies are reversed, that might be an optimistic underestimate.
