If it were some stranger on the street, or a neighbor who came over for a barbeque, and they started making disparaging jokes about the wife, that would be one thing. But Will and Jada Smith have decades of show business experience between them. They know the game. They know the job of stand up comedians is to puncture egos, and some of those egos are going to belong to someone who has a husband or wife. They also know no one is immune, and that 99% of the time it's nothing personal. To cast all of that aside for some misplaced attempt to put on a show of machismo is ridiculous. I'll bet Smith has been listening to CR for years and laughing his jug-eared head off at his insults towards others. Yet he felt entitled to lay a hand on the comedian when the barbs came his way. That's bullshit.
Smith has some deep issues that go beyond a one-off joke about his privileged wife's hair. I suspect it all comes down to his cuck status and he is desperate to still think of himself as a man. So he lashes out against something that happens a thousand times a day in comedy venues across the country.
If it was just the one episode it would be meaningless, but stand up comedy has been under assault for a while now from the hypersensitive leftist dweebs to the point that a lot of big name comedians won't even play campus venues anymore. The one non-pharmaceutical thing that allows us a moment's respite from the anxiety and horrors of life by being able to laugh about them for a few minutes in a dark room is one more thing "progressives" want to destroy. They have absolutely zero sense of humor about themselves or any of life's foibles. Their entire constellation of "humor" revolves around vile, graffiti-level mocking of those not in political lockstep with them.
**** them and their attempts to turn the World into one big, gray environment of sameness.
