The Supreme Court is in big trouble. Every decision Thomas has made is now tainted.

Thomas must resign, that is a no brainer. I am not a lawyer, but I believe the Democrats, lawyers, are going to look at all of the decisions Thomas has made and what his wife was up to at that time. The Democrats will probably demand Thomas recuse himself from certain future cases. I do not see how the Supreme Court can move forward with Thomas on the bench.

This is unbelievable, the text messages she sent to Meadows were insane. Just when you think things cannot get more insane, they do.

For months now I have said Meadows is the person Garland must focus on. He was involved in everything when it comes to the attempted over throw of our country. Meadows is mentally weak. We know this because he always plays both sides of the fence with other people. Indict Meadows and he will sing like a jailhouse rat.

We have never seen madness like this in our history.

Rudy is insane, we all watched his madness. Flynn and his family took an oath to Q. That's insane. Powell, Trumps lawyer is insane. We all know Trump is insane. I don't know how this madness is going to end, but it has to end or it will end us.

They can't stand a negro who has left the [D] plantation, so he must be destroyed...

1. 1. Thomas will never resign.

2. Not enough votes in the Senate to impeach.

He can’t remove Thomas from the court

18. Yep.

Time to flip the Senate. Not to mention getting a majority in the House. Then, we can impeach. (No, it's not a simple solution, but it IS a solution.)

Their GAWD is most powerful and righteous.

And in the USA Supreme Court there are 5 more GQP.

I can imagine like trolls that the GQP are all 50 voting against Judge Jackson, with fears of two Ds.

6. Did I miss some important news on Thomas and why the Supreme Court is in BIG Trouble?

I've been occupied with personal life matters, and appear to be behind some very important news here! I read he was out sick, I think hospitalized if I recall accurately, but at the moment don't see the connection..

guess I'll have a look around du and see if something about Thomas made headlines, other than being absent cuz hospitalized with illness.

35. His wife is still crazy

People still hold this weird notion that anyone in office is responsible for everything their spouse does.

His wife is a nutjob who communicated Qanon stuff with Mark Meadows and others during the January 6 insurrection. Thomas, in turn, opposed the release of Meadows’ communications from that day.

People believe this requires that Clarence Thomas must be punished in some way, or that there is some kind of rule requiring him to leave the court.

7. Why would he resign?

He didn't break any laws that I am aware of. He didn't recuse himself in a decision that involved his wife. Clarence isn't much different than 5 other SC justices, as a matter of fact I believe that justice Alito may be the worst justice on the court.

Meadows must not have done anything wrong, like committing treason since DOJ won't even prosecute him for defying a subpoena, let alone committing treason.

Day 100 since the select committee sent the Mark Meadows criminal referral to DOJ.
Day 72 since the Michigan AG sent the fake elector criminal referral to DOJ.

15. Democracy is in big trouble. The Supreme Court is untouchable.

The Supreme Court participated in a coup by handing the presidency to George W. Bush in 2000. He did not win. The Supreme Court halted a recount in Florida that was clearly going to show that Al Gore won that state, thereby winning the electoral college. Gore uncontestedly won the popular vote. It was the first time since 1888 that a presidential candidate won the popular vote but somehow "lost" the election.

This was a coup. It happened. Americans don't want to admit it. The Supreme Court did that - with Clarence Thomas's full support, since George W. Bush's daddy put him on the Court.

What followed was a twenty-year war that made the Bushes, Cheneys, and a bunch of their allies multi-billionaires.

Thomas's wife's crazy texts to Trump's chief of staff are a footnote, at best, to the coup that already happened 22 years ago.

25. Ginni Thomas is a member of the Council for National Policy, an anti-democracy organization.

The NYT recently published an exposé about her. Unlike most of their articles and opinion pieces, it disappeared from the front page within less than a day. I’m linking here to an article about the Times piece, which is behind a paywall.

https://www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/2022/02/nyt-drops-the-hammer-on-ginni-thomas-with-scathing-report-on-her-political-activism/

“The political activism of a Supreme Court spouse is the focus of a New York Times exposé titled “The Long Crusade of Clarence and Ginni Thomas.”

The newspaper noted her work for the Council for National Policy, which it said “brings together old-school Republican luminaries, Christian conservatives, Tea Party activists and MAGA operatives, with more than 400 members who include leaders of organizations like the Federalist Society, the National Rifle Association and the Family Research Council.”

These people have worked to establish a totalitarian government based on their Christian theology, which is that rich white people are the ones chosen by God to rule the world. They do not believe in rights for then”lesser people” of the country, and they are the most destructive force working to overturn our system of democratic government we have ever seen. They’re rich and powerful, and they control much of the media and most of the Supreme Court now. Unfortunately, the general public knows nothing about them because the media rarely writes about their pernicious influence on politics and the people they get into public office. Some Democrats know about then, as most of us here do, but the average Republican voter is completely in the dark about how these people are working to replace the Constitution with their theocratic version. They are dangerously close to winning their war against democrcy.

60. What we have seen time and again though, is a horrible and odious double

standard. If one of our people is even suspected of wrongdoing, the Republicans will quietly undermine them and they will get ridden out on a rail. Like with Al Franken, who most decidedly did NOT get anything like due process.

But the Republicans? They just say F you and move on. Trump taught them utter shamelessness. It really is appalling, and yes, we need to do something. I think many don't realize how far gone the GOP actually is, how treasonous. I believe Biden is coming to see it now, but at first believed that he could come in and govern seriously with these people. But no.

There is a lot of stuff going on, though, that is decent. Stacey Abrams is doing great work. Sanders, Warren, Sheldon Whitehouse, Merkel, the Squad. They are all speaking truth to power - moving that Overton window. Sanders did that with Medicare for all. Now we're all talking about it, and Americans overwhelmingly support it. The only thing holding us back is the fear of losing shareholder profits and the corruption of many in Congress.

The other thing that I'm wondering if will make a big difference for us is the war on women, which has decidedly heated up. If the Supreme court overturns Roe or Griswold, the GOP will be smashed in the midterms because most women I know will crawl over broken glass to vote anyone who is anti-choice, anti-birth control right out the door.

The only thing I worry about is us. For example, my state rep is a real holy roller. She votes how she is told and doesn't listen to anyone or anything. Far right wing Q kind of person. Well, I showed up at the Democratic 'meet and greet' and met the person who would be running against this loony tune. I donated to her, and got a yard sign. You know what it said?

Make politics boring again.

Seriously. Make politics boring again. She could not think of anything better than that. She lost substantially. Our people at every level need to be talking about healthcare, women's rights, and legalizing marijuana. They will win if they do.

We seem not to want to play hardball, though.

Say, did you see John Dean is putting public pressure on old Alvin Bragg to reopen the case against Trumpy. After Mark Pomerantz published his resignation letter in the New York Times, and said Trump DID commit crimes, Bragg mysteriously closed the case. Reminds me - I'm calling my Senators and Rep to do whatever they can to pressure the cretin Bragg to reopen. He needs to be subjected to massive blowback.

Only a few years ago the deranged primitives would have been accusing Thomas of something stupid, like violating the Logan Act.
Just one year ago--as their mental illness progressed--they would have called it insurrection.
But now, suffering from full blown psychosis, the primitives immediately jump to treason.

So, let me see if I have this straight.  When I disagreed with Obama's policy positions for various reasons, usually related to fiscal responsibility, I was being racist.  However, when DUmmies want the black mayor of NY thrown out of office for attempting to reduce crime, when they accuse the black DA of Manhattan of taking bribes because he made a ruling they didn't like, when they accuse a black Supreme Court justice or either incompetence or corruption and want him removed from the bench and locked up because his wife is vocally Republican, that's all OK.  Now the general consensus over there is that slinging mud at a black Republican is OK because they are race traitors, so they're not really black.  But now even black Democrats like the NYC mayor and DA are being attacked with racial tropes and accused of imaginary crimes if they get too far off the plantation.  There's a word for that (cough racism) but I can't quite put my finger on it.

They have a "random outrage generator" (ROG) they use.  When DUmmies wake up at noon or 1 PM the first thing they do, even before wasting the rest of their day with DU,  kiddie porn sites, booze, and pot is go to the ROG to see what they need to go nuts about to get Virtue Signal points.

Clarence Thomas has been nothing short of USELESS. He voted against Obergefell v. Hodges, the ACA, the Voting Rights Act, releasing information to the Jan. 6th committee, and more. He will likely vote to strike down Roe v. Wade and other cases that do not mold into his warped view of America.

Number one, any time a lefty or lefties aren't allowed to run roughshod over everyone else, those who stand in the way are always called 'hitler' and 'fascist' and 'totalitarian'. Square that when it comes to standing in their way politically, and cube that when it comes to standing in their way politically from an elected office, even potentially.

Number two, the lefties are the ones for a 'living document' constitution and jurists who will interpret to that end, and completely opposed to 'constructionist', 'originalist' readings of the constitution and bill of rights, and this is well and widely known.

So basically, this DUmmy is full of shit and projecting, like the good little commie it is.
