I don't know about the rest of you, but ever since TSA started forcing people into lines, requiring them to take off their shoes, their belts, and forbidding bottles of water, along with other idiotic requirements, I have hated to fly. Flew only when I absolutely had to.
When #SharterJoe and his mask mandates came along, I refused to fly altogether. Wearing a face diaper and undergoing all the moronic TSA shit was over the top. **** 'em. I don't need to fly that badly.
So I was slightly encouraged (but not surprised) to see that the CEOs of 10 U.S. airlines signed this letter to #SharterJoe about Joe's idiotic mask mandates. I consequently wrote an email to my three congresscritters (Senators Cotton, Boozman, and Rep (missing in action most of the time) French Hill) requesting they get with the program and join the circus.
More accurately, customers of ten airlines have grown fed up with mandated mask wearing for hours on end. Their CEOs have published an open letter to Joe Biden asking him to end the mandate for air travel as well as any “predeparture testing requirements.” These “no longer make sense in the current public health context.”
The letter comes after Biden pledged to veto any congressional action lifting the mandates:
