Yep, I said it. I hate them. I despise them. If the earth were to open up and swallow every rethug at the RNC, it would bother me one bit.

They are liars. They are hypocrites. They are racist. They are sexist. You know damned well they would eliminate minimum wage and bring back slavery if they could. They do not give a rat's ass about the working man. The ONLY thing they care about is making their bank accounts bigger.

7. No self-respecting African American would ever call themself a rethug
   How can you associate yourself with a group of people who looks down their nose at you, uses the "n word" to describe you behind your back, and would love nothing more than to put you back in chains for cheap labor?

   I respect my parents and they are Republicans. I'm sure they have self-respect in fact I know they do.

We differ on many things but I love them and I respect them regardless of their political slant.

You don't know anything about anything regarding black Americans.

13. The rethug party is a racist organization
   Sorry, but it is. I'm sorry about your parents, but I just don't see why they would support the rethugs. Are they aware that many of their rethug "friends" probably talk about them behind their backs, and use them as the "black friends" that they always seem to know? Just like I can't see how any self-respecting gay person would call themselves a Republican.

   Thanks for reducing my parents to unthinking animals that don't know any better.

My father is an attorney and my mother is a registered nurse. They raised four children and have been life long Republicans. Like I said, I differ with their opinion on many issues but they are good people and so are my "rethug" siblings.

And regarding gay Americans, I know plenty that are Republican and Democratic. (Actually, most of my gay friends couldn't give two shits about politics).

Sorry, as you like to say, but I grew up in Republican politics and I never met a racist. I give money and time to the DNC and I've seen more racists and more sexism among my fellow Democrats in the past three days than I've ever seen while I was growing u

Anyone who did not see Gov. Palin's speech can read these bug-eyed, apoplectic reactions on DU and get a small measure of appreciation for what a splendid job she did. Just excellent, in every way. Huckabee and Giuliani were outstanding, Palin was transcendent. Tonight was the kind of event that causes post-convention bounce. If McCain can do half as well tomorrow, and if gasbag O'Reilly doesn't give the Obamessiah too much of a spotlight, this convention will have gone from a dismal disappointment to a great success.
