Why it's so hard not to hate Republicans

I hate Republicans because I know I can't watch Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation hearings this week without hitting the mute button every time a Republican Senator speaks.

I know their obnoxious and condescending line of questioning will immediately make me ashamed to be an American. And my blood pressure will rise everytime I see the arrogant smirk on the faces of Cruz, Hawley, Blackburn, etc...

The GOP, especially in Washington DC, make following current events unbearable and even toxic They've destroyed political discourse in this country. And are proud they've made most Americans distrust the government and democracy. They make it really hard not to hate them.

3. Cruz in particular

Being an attorney and knowing how he's made a mockery of the office of senator, and yet he loves to sneer at others as if they're not worthy. He's such a pompous ass who's not worthy of an ounce of respect himself.

4. Actually, it's impossible not to hate Republicans

Mean, reactionary bastards are trying to erase the second half of the twentieth century. The same thing that drives Putin drives them: Power and control at all costs.

6. True that.

The minute I hear it’s a Republican, I’m gone.

I realized awhile ago that they’re against everything I’m for, and they’re for everything I’m against.

5. they used to have honest differences of opinion--now it's entirely about truculence

It's very childish, and aimed at silly little social media likes instead of serious disagreements, but unfortunately the consequences are real.

10. I know. I feel like I am missing most of this historical confirmation hearing because I simply have

no more ability to listen to their preening lies and while the Dems on the committee will rebut, they have to do so in such a Senate-mandated "cordial" manner that the point is lost. Of course, those who most need to hear such rebuttals won't be listening either.

I am glad that she appears to have the 50 Dem votes for confirmation. I'm sad that she won't get much of the public's informed celebration,

Umm, because you mouth breathers do whatever your political masters tell you to do, and the order of the day is "despise the Untermenschen"?

Snowflakes.

It’s the same reason they hate this site; they can’t stand the fact that their words are being highlighted and laughed at.

The nerve these people at DU have to call anyone else "obnoxious and condescending". One sees in others what one sees in oneself, I guess.

One big reason is that we are against pedophilia and grooming our children to perverted sexual fantasies of homos and perverts (i.e. democrats).
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

Because only the left goes searching for that which is not there in a desperate attempt to be offended about something.

He was from New Mexico, Lujan and he is back as of March 3rd. Unfortunately he is back but I don't think a SCOTUS nominee can be confirmed by the VP... so one of the usual traitors or all of them will vote for the unqualified black affirmative action pro-pedophile communist woman.

Whatever the "reason" the dude(tte) is in the right Hellhole of Hatred.

There are a myriad of reasons of all sizes and shapes, but they all fit through the big hole labelled "because they dared tell us " NO".

Same reason they hate the bill of rights, and install clownworld justices like that idiot latina and now the crt pedo-lover justice, to undermine it.
