Ninety-four-year-old neighbor died last week of
Covid pneumonia. I have no idea of she was vaccinated or not.

It’s not gone away. I will continue to mask and distance.

I miss the old days, when you could die at 94 without liberals clucking their tongues that they weren't vaccinated. I mean, dead at 94? They had their WHOLE LIFE ahead of them. Why are allowing this pandemic to continue to mow down people in their prime? Why, this person probably had at least a few more months to live, if not a couple more years. Now we'll never hear their latest opera, or read their latest book, or benefit from their newest invention. Damn the right wing to hell for MURDERING nonagenarians with their disease.

     If you think about it, the liberal response to COVID is to believe that it can be completely eradicated. That nature can be, somehow, completely subdued by mankind. What does that sound like? What's that remind you of? Exactly: their hubris and delusion that giving money to the government can change the climate. I am not sure what happened or when it happened that makes liberals believe they can control every aspect of their existence. The great irony in all of this is that they're miserable people no matter what, owing to their narcissism, so even if the world was perfect, they'd still be miserable. Changing themselves is faster, easier, and cheaper than trying to alter physics, economics, and politics, but that would never occur to them.

The delusion that WE can control things - whether the "we" is gooberment or our individual selves - is a human delusion. Gooberment, even a one-world gooberment with unified humanity, is too small to control Earth's climate. In the same way, life and people around us are vastly bigger than what we actually can control.
