The outer wear used by both Russians and Ukrainians looks very similar, at least from what I’ve seen. I suppose in most cases those engaged at the front line have a pretty good idea of where their side is but it’s been fairly static up to this point. That’s probably going to be changing.

So Ukrainians are wearing yellow markings. I’ve seen Russians with both white and red armbands.
