Argument with relative about Kamala Harris

Son-in-law...who purposely mispronounces her first name.

Him: "She's the most ineffective Vice President ever!"

Me: "How?" "Why?"

Him: "She's supposed to be the border czar and is never at the border. She's never visible."

I tried to pull up facts to refute this.

Me: "So, what's the reason for the current focus on the VP to be the savior of all things? Was this applied to any other former VP? Name me three things Pence solved in his tenure."

Him: "At least he went to the border of North Korea."

Me: "And how did that turn out?"

More back and forth.

Me: "Do you think she is subject to a double standard because she is the first womam VP and VP of color?"

Him: "How DARE you call me sexist and racist!"

Why do people dislike Kamala? What does she do well exactly? She's inept. She talks about current events like a third-grader. There's a reason she's not even well-liked within her own party.

The vice president's questions did not stop there.

She seemed to struggle to recognize how or when the car was charging, and she held on to the charger throughout the entire process, according to footage of the demonstration posted to social media.

"For all of us who are used to filling our tank, we, you usually can smell it, and you can hear it, and you can hear the guzzling sound," Harris noted. "None of that."

The vice president then asked how she could know the car was charging for real, and Reddy did his best to explain off camera.

"But how would I know that?" Harris asked again. "Tell me how I would know that."

Not worth my time to find the clips, but she introduced or referred to herself numerous times as COMMA-la (apparently the proper way), and also the "incorrect" one being KAM-a-la.

If that's you only argument to refute evil repugs, you're already losing the battle.

     Not that this needs to be said, owing to its obviousness, but this post on DU is proof that they're worried about the plain, irrefutable fact that Kamala is a dolt, an idiot, and has no idea what she's saying or why she's saying it. Making up a story about a conversation about Kamala is essentially a trial balloon to see if other DUmmies view her as capable, and whether they have some talking points to use when, inevitably, someone points out her incompetence and ineptitude.

     Allow me to crib from the estimable Jan Brady, to whom we should all turn in moments such as these: if Dan Quayle was dumb, then Kamala Harris is super-dumb. That is a natural, irrefutable, immutable fact, on which the DUmmies can suck long and hard.
