2. Not sure Ukraine needs mercenaries right now, but who knows?

5. They're not mercenaries
Good smack-down.

6. Yes they are, and not a good idea right now.

9. Mercanaries and/or volunteers aren't going to help right now. Probably get more people killed.
Maybe medics and other medical veterans can really help.
Tripling down on Stupid.
Some news that should PO many/most DUmmies, guess who's sending a mobile hospital to Ukraine? Some one they bitterly hate, Franklin Graham and Samaritan's Purse. I think Doctors Without Borders is also in Ukraine.

16. Yeah, but they aren't looking for bunch of bush war vets. Which is mostly what they will get.
Ukraine won't even know who they are loyal to.
Quadrupling down on Stupid.

17. I think you're wrong, those Bush war vets are our most combat trained/experienced vets and have a lot of knowledge on fighting an insurgency, they can advise Ukrainians on what works best and what doesn't, they are experienced in small unit tactics and ops.
This should have been grossly obvious, but on DU ...
My WAG is that
Star Moron Hoyt hates "Bush War" vets because they served under Bush instead of mutinying against Bush (and evidently believes the anti-American
Iraq Body Count slanderers). And probably also hates that guns are what have a chance to be effective (IIRC,
Star Moron Hoyt is rabidly anti-gun-owner).
