Actually volunteered to sort my neighbor's sock drawers rather than this national embarrassment.  Truthfully, watching my alma mater play a significant college hoops game instead.  Therefore, I'll rely on my dear friends here to capture the doddering display of majestic incompetence in flagrante delicto.

While I'd imagine there will be lots of fawning DUmp threads that can also be discussed in that forum, just thought it would be productive to have a thread for our very own mercifully mocking version.

I'd like to say "have fun" watching it, but that would be as big a lie as what Sharter Joe will say this evening.

The press conference debacle he gave on 19 January, he proved he could stand on his own two feet for 90 minutes. Of course, he had no idea what he was saying, but from a physical standpoint he could do that much.

I opened Twitter at about 9:02 eastern, to maybe catch some snarky SOTU-comments. 

Somebody posted a weird pic of Kamala staring at the audience, asking:  What is she staring-at?  I opened the Mount Palomar Observatory homepage for potential inspiration to respond... and ended-up staying there over 20-minutes, reading about the telescopes themselves.

I lost what little interest I had in the SOTU and went to the Angry Joe Show (no relation) website to watch their review of Dying Light 2, ironically.  Then I went to bed.

Much like Joe even while delivering the speech, I was blissfully unaware of the proceedings.  The college hoops game I watched ran from 7 pm CT to about 9:15.  (And my alma mater pulled off an upset against a Top 10 team.)  Flipped over to catch most of Gov. Kim Reynolds' rebuttal.  Still kind of catching up on the blather being spouted last night, and will enjoy hearing all of the malaprops and lies this morning and afternoon.

I accidentally heard a few seconds when I started my car to head home from work. It sounded like he was saying the US is doing well against Covid. In the few seconds I heard, he mentioned antiviral treatments; I assume he also mentioned vaccines. Did he bother to mention that all Covid vaccines used in the US were developed and tested under Trump, and 2 of the 3 authorized under Trump? Did he mention that almost all antivirals - monoclonal antibodies and anti-replication types - were developed and tested under Trump, and authorized or approved under Trump? Even the new mab developed and currently being tested by AbCellera and Eli Lilly trace back to the DARPA program started under Trump, in which AbCellera is a partner.

When it comes to things Covid, LIEden and his Kovid Klown-Krew have been a Kluster-Fornicate. WRT vaccines, LIEden has been more effective at undermining public trust than have Trust-Fund-Boy RFK Jr., Snake Oil Salesman Joseph Mercola, and the-doctor-who-hasn't-worked-on-vaccine-development-in-over-20-(30?)-years-but-claims-to-have-invented-mRNA-vaccines Robert Malone, combined.
