If you could reason with tRumpers, they wouldn't be tRumpers.....A simple slogan, no matter how compelling, isn't going to penetrate the cement-heads who still worship the Slobfather. If they haven't divorced themselves from him by now, they will go to their graves kissing his little scrotum--sooner, I hope, than later......

kentuck (104,333 posts) 14. That is on the right track...In my opinion, the slogan that will gain the most traction with repetitiveness is: Republicans Cannot Defend Our Country Or Our ConstitutionNothing more needs to be said. There is no mention of Donald Trump.Because deep down, America knows it is not safe in the hands of Republicans. No names or personalities need to be mentioned. Most Americans know what happened on January 6th and before. If this slogan is stated over and over, it is non-partisan enough to seep thru the wall that now surrounds the two political Parties.

A campaign shouldn't be about we can do for a politician, it should be about what they plan to do for us.So it's not catchy, but "We're on your side" or something to that effect might point out the difference between the Party of No and the party that's trying to restore the child care tax credit and BBB and deal with the climate crisis and do things that will actually benefit us.

By repetition, it will enter into the minds of whomever hears it. They should understand the importance of its message. It should be a simple slogan with a simple truth.

[Correct, and DU's discussion of whether they can win on slogans sounds like a quiet admission that they know their party doesn't deserve to win.

2 bags of groceries cost $200, what are you buying, a couple cartons of smokes and two gallons of gin?
Could Democrats win the next election with a simple slogan?
Dems seemed to already have embraced the slogan “One People - One Country - One Leader”. They should just roll with it..
Vote Early, Vote Often, and make sure your dead relatives vote at least twice!
Vegan organic free trade tofu gets hit by inflation and supply chain issues too, you know.
Excellent point. Was dating a vegan a few years back and the grocery bills were rather outrageous.
