fightforfreedom (336 posts)https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216327821Legal question: Can you be charged with multiple counts when destroying official WH documents.Trump more than likely destroyed hundreds, if not thousands of official records. Do they all have to be included in one count, one charge? Or could he be charged with multiple counts.I have a gut feeling this is going to turn into a bigger news story. This is a big deal.

I would surmise that records acts work like secrecy acts.
fightforfreedom (336 posts) 7. Could this not be added too a larger indictment? We see that all the time in criminal cases.
fightforfreedom (336 posts) 9. Wait till we learn what documents he tore up and then were taped back together.Wait till we here the testimony of witnesses who witnessed Trump destroy, burn documents. What was in those documents? It has been reported many Whitehouse staff are cooperating with the committee. What kind of evidence have they turned over to the committee?
fightforfreedom (336 posts) 12. How did the national archives know Trump had records at his house? What did Trump get rid of before they were retrieved?
