If you mean they're incompetent at investigating to uncover the truth, or to get successful prosecutions, sure, they're incompetent idiots at that.

Between the right-wing fake smear machine and the media that just eats it up.

The media should have covered the investigations as a high-risk fishing expedition for the republicans. Gambling that they'll find proof of criminality. That way, there's a consequence for coming up short.

The way the media covered it, Hillary lost even though she was cleared of wrongdoing and republicans won even though they abused their powers unethically and wasted tons of federal money and time for zero indictments.

So of course republicans smear democrats. The media makes it a gamble republicans can't lose no matter what.

It might depend on what Jim Jordan and others do if they're subpoenaed by the 1/6 Committee. If they refuse to comply and aren't compelled by the courts to testify, then Democrats might ignore subpoenas as well. Refusing to testify is not a good look, though. I think Democrats should do all they can to get members of Congress to testify and should testify themselves if told to do so. It's bullshit that some people can ignore subpoenas about it while others go to jail for it.

I hope an R House impeaches Biden many times. The Democrats have shown us that even if the president doesn't do anything wrong that he can be impeached purely on political grounds. Of course Biden would probably never get convicted in The Senate but I think hanging three impeachments around Biden's neck would be great payback for what they did to Trump.
