The hate VP Harris gets is disgusting, appalling and downright dispiriting.
I get it's not a surprise after Sec. Clinton faced similar hate during her run for the president but I am just flabbergasted at how brazen the attacks on Harris have become.

They really are going to make sure she's never elected president, aren't they?

Really interesting to compare how the media treats her and Biden compared to how they treated the racist pedophile and sexual abuser Trump.

She's the future of the Democratic Party, and they're trying every way they can to keep her down and demoralized. She's smart and strong, though. I don't think Biden would have chosen her if he didn't think she could handle it. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear what she and Joe have to say about all those assholes who are trying to bring her down. Technically, she is multiracial. She is half Asian (South Asian, her mother was from India). Her father was from Jamaica; based on pics I've seen, he looked like a mix of African and European ancestry. But this country is kind of stupid about multiracial people and wants to label people as one thing or another.

Its complicated... My family is Irish- emigrated to the US on both sides in the 1840s. One side was Co. Cork, the other Co. Monaghan. I have been shocked at the horrid and petty stories run about Kamala Harris. Even the San Francisco Chronicle has run a few of these stories with large bold print headlines and yet the stories themselves were so ridiculously trivial. I assume certain of the powers that be want to disable her from running for president. It really has been surprising -- especially the stories that have appeared here.

Your party seeks and props up women and people of color, not to advance them but to use them as armor against any criticism.  I knew this was coming when brandon declared in 2020 that his selection for VP would be a female person of color, qualifications be damned.   

Your side thinks that because they have checked off the "right" boxes for a person that we have to remain silent in regards to our acceptance or approval of them.

If she would even try to do the job she was "elected" for people's opinions on her may change for the better, but all she is doing for the democrat party is casing tie breaker votes in the senate.
