I know we imagine Insurrection II as a bunch of pudgy cosplayers...

...with their tricked-out squirrel rifles vastly outnumbered and outgunned by a loyal professional military.

But...what if the military truly can't figure out what to do? What if the Trumpite candidate takes the White House through smelly state politics that are still blessed by the SCOTUS? If we rose up against that, wouldn't the military be compelled by law and custom to put us down?

If the politics were rank enough, the military might actually split, which would have a pretty much guaranteed bad outcome.

1. I have a feeling that with all of the idiots going to jail, there might not

be much of an insurrection 2.0. Remember, they are basically cowards who thought they would get away with it.
