Almost all Republicans are literally sabotaging America, to hurt Biden.

Just like they did Obama.

1. This seems true to me too. I don't know if it is our nature to not attack our fellow person,

but sometimes I wish that we see a little more push back, as you say.

have response except to repeat their talking points about it being part of the free speech spectrum and what people want to hear....

it's s a protected monopoly that repeats lies to 50 mil a week and democrats have NO response

we even let 87 + universities support 260+ xLimbaugh stations - while they deny global warming and covid, excuse racism, and are now close to overturning Roe

every advertiser, ad co, university, and pro sports owners using RW radio should be targets for boycotts and protests that would be real offense aimed at the cons and at the kremlin, which has been feeding those radio stations too. it would move the country 10 pts left, make a lot of real reform finally possible, and pull the rug out from under cons like manchin who are enabled by those lie-based constituencies.

there is no way repubs could take back congress, senate if dems finally stop ignoring rw radio.

Seriously. That's the way it's been set up since the Fairness Doctrine was eliminated and Media Deregulation happened. We keep trying to piggyback on what is basically now a hostile right wing owned media to get our message out and they do nothing but stab us in the back and make fools out of us. It's really ludicrous to rely on the corporate conservative media for anything when you think about it.

Unless a policy for "media integrity" or something is enacted, which is a fantasy at this point, we will continue to have everything we say and do twisted into some sinister plan to steal patriotic American's freedoms. I'm actually surprised that Fox News hasn't started doing voiceovers when Democrats speak publicly so they can actually put words in their mouths.

for fox and social media there are alts a click away, they are part of the free speech spectrum - rw radio is not. it its basically FREE for them.

30 yrs of that unchallenged repetition is what fox and the internet and social media trolling depend on. Q-anon piggybacked 10 months of 'liberal deep state' bullshit on 1500 radio stations. limbaugh and sons pounded that since 2017 inauguration and Q-anon first showed up in Nov 2017. the russians have been using and piggybacking rw radio since at least 2008 when limbaugh was used to force palin on mccain.

not only has ignoring rw radio been the biggest political mistake in history, it is extremely vulnerable and offers a game changing opportunity to destroy the GOP and russian influence. it could not survive if artificial intelligence was now used, like MIT researchers prototyped, to digitize and analyze large amounts of rw radio for patterns, lies, etc. media and political analysts would finally factor it in and few advertisers would use it.

I believe back in the 60's when the RW extremist & Koch founded John Birch Society was sent underground, they splintered off into white supremist cells & re-emerged by keeping it local.
AM Radio, organizing at local levels & growing their following away from the eyes of mainstream, was a long game that worked for them.

AM Radio certainly has had a BIG contribuion to America's demise.

Since when did the Republicans care about media criticism? It’s a badge of honor for them. We play by a different set of rules. We’ve become the janitorial party, cleaning up Republican messes and then shown the door as soon as the worst of it is over. And this time our parting favors will include rolling the clock back on voting rights and women’s rights.

You’d think we’d learn some new tricks by now.

I was talking to my wife and sister in law about those idiotic Christmas cards sent by Republicans glorifying guns. Mentioned that the media and Republicans would be repeatedly attacking Democrats (imagine the Ilhan Omar clan posing with guns) if they did something like this. They just said, "Oh we can't stoop to their level and play their game."

The problem with Democrats is that too many of them think everybody sees the world like they do, that people respond rationally and support policies that advance their own interests, that the deplorables would come around if they knew the facts, that we must not ever offend anybody, etc.

The fight in elections is for that squishy middle 1/3 of the country. The left is going to stick with us no matter what, the right is going to oppose us, so we have to dumb down and beef up the message to bring those undecideds into the fold. Patiently explaining that the Build Back Better has lots of goodies in it for them gets us nowhere. This crowd is too stupid and disengaged to understand legislative facts. We've got to hit them in the emotions.

Run ads highlighting prominent anti-vaxxers who croaked side by side with clips of Republicans downplaying the virus. Show video of the attack on Jan 6th with quotes from Rs calling them peaceful. Highlight how much money certain politicians saved with the tax cuts. Get tough.

Are you kidding me?  LPC definitely hasn't perused the DUmp, or any left leaning social media, or is dangerously disconnected from reality.   Democrats, especially the moonbats, absolutely believe almost everyone thinks like them, and the few who don't (in their view) need to be forced to think the correct way.  The last comment about using the Herman Cain Award reddit for campaign ads makes me think the dangerous disconnect is very accurate.
