Is Rittenhouse crapping his pants right now?

The rightwingers I know thought that this would be a quick acquittal. But time is passing, and passing, and passing.... which by now means, of course, that somebody on the jury believes he's guilty of at least one major charge.

Maybe even REAL tears by now.

I know the verdict should be "Not Guilty" on all counts, but I'm not dumb enough to claim to know what the jury will do or how quickly. As for

I've not read that on either conservative discussion site I currently frequent. The is either fiction or a variety of "rightwingers" I don't encounter.

Quite possibly, because he's aware that he might be found guilty not because of any actual guilt, but because the fruity-loops left have done everything they can to turn this trial into something out of 1930s Moscow.

If you had committed no crime, but faced the real possibility of conviction because of politics, that's cause for being somewhat nervous.

It is a rather worthless exercise to comment on current events or general topics without having complete knowledge on the subject.  Haven't watched a second of this trial, just read the articles.

But that doesn't stop people (especially on the left) from overreacting and pulling out their "jumping to conclusions mat".  DUmmies especially who have preconceived notions of everything.

I could only ever see this ending one way, regardless of what was presented in court.
Odds win: there are at LEAST a few lefties on that jury. They will ignore not only the jury instructions, but the law itself and hold out until hell freezes over.. because, i dunno, racists or something. My money is on hung jury, not justice.

Yep, there apparently has been a lot of jury intimidation and my hunch is a hung jury.

Won't matter, because unless the left gets a guilty on all counts, they'll still be demanding that Rittenhouse be hanging from the nearest gallows pole.  Any other result, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Chicago, and every other major city will be burning.  But not because of facts, but empathy and feelings.
