I mentioned to a closet magaloon last night that President Biden was signing the Infrastructure Bill today and that It will be good for all of America and that the bill is paid for possibly by raising taxes on folks making more than 400 grand a year, he came back at me saying well the 400 grand folks who own businesses will just pass that tax along to consumers via higher prices...
How do I explain this....help

     I remember one scant generation ago when politicians at least made reference to the cost of shit like this. We've gone from days of people having at least a passing knowledge to economics to "WELL, WE HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY FOR WAR, SO WE HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY FOR THIS!"

     In other words, DUmmies could not care less about the deficit, nor the fact that M1 is growing geometrically at this point. I am now buying things that are scarce, like precious metals. Scarcer still is the intellect of a liberal, but I wouldn't pay a plugged nickel for a bushel of that.

No one has yet said what "fair share" means.  If we are talking about fair shares, then that implies everyone should pay something.

Let's bring back the old tax rates from the 1950's.
