One question about this bullcrap shipping "crisis", what's actually on those ships?
Throughout this months-long media created "crisis", nobody has ever researched what's actually on those ships? Seems like that would be the first thing discussed if rational thinking were involved.

1. Pretty much everything.

I'm surprised you haven't seen that part of the stories. Every one I've seen talks about it.

2. yuppa, everything from electronics to machine tools/parts to toys and games...

Just about everything you could buy on amazon.com that isn't perishable is on those ships. And then some.

But as others have pointed out, the queuing of the ships is more a function of management and profit than capacity or logistics.

One crane per ship. A lack of container trailers. Long wait time for drivers who are essentially off the clock while waiting. One shift per day.

The shipyards have zero incentive to change any of that. Their profits are assured with or without increasing throughput.

Its not the ships that are the problem..

Nor the crews..

Nor the docking..

Nor the truckers..

-- The problem is California's environmental regs are so tough, there are almost no trucks left that are legally able to move those containers --

And who made those regs ?

-- Democrats.

^^^^^^^ And there is the problem, right there.

For years and years and years the USA has never had issues with ports being able to unload ships, moving the contents to trains or trucks, and then moving the merchandise to its intended place. Now suddenly after C19 and getting back to semi normal this same process is bottlenecked? And they want to blame it on too much demand? Too much demand from a population that only a few months ago needed stimulus checks to keep people from going broke and losing everything? Now suddenly those same people are awash in cash and demanding more products than they’ve ever wanted before?

Attn Dems: Your lies aren’t matching up with what the real world is seeing and experiencing in their daily lives.

5. Everything is in the containers on those ships.

It's not "bullcrap." That's a right-wing meme.

We import most goods these days, and they arrive in containers on ships.
Right-wing memes about container ships full of bull crap--I guess they slipped past my radar.  What the hell is this dumb asshole babbling about?

THis crisis, like every other Biden* Junta created crisis of the last 10 months is on purpose and the purpose is to destroy America and Americans... especially middle America.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
