Actually, the answer isn't that deep. In general, people who live in rural areas tend to be less well educated than urban and suburban populations. Rural voters tend to tune out white papers, sophisticated explanations, or statistics that show they're better off under Democrats. And this makes it much simpler for Republicans to hit those rural voters at the gut level.

I've always wondered why a state like Pennsylvania is up for grabs until someone who lives there explained to me that Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle. Which makes Pennsylvania a lot more rural than it seems.

Democrats are tearing their hair out wondering how they can get the rural vote. The answer is, they can't unless they start using the Republican "Southern Strategy." But then they wouldn't be Democrats any longer.

Anyhow, rural America's rural election turnout requires a massive turnout for Democrats in urban and suburban areas. And the Supreme Court might just cause this to happen if they kill abortion and let everyone carry a gun.

It has nothing to do with education or sophistication. It has to do with the complete disdain you have for people who are more worried about how to feed their children and maintain a lifestyle than people's ******* ****ing "pronouns."

It has to do with China developing weapons and showing them to the world while the Pentagon congratulates itself on how woke it is. It has to do with the fact that PEOPLE WANT TO WORK, not have more money in their unemployment checks.

I know you can't possibly understand this, since your entire life is spent worshiping gay talking heads on cable news who dream up new ways for white people to be "racist" whenever one of you hypocrites doesn't get your way.

Also, when your candidate comes right out and says that parents should have no role in how their children are educated, your hatred is on clear display.

How funny that after 20 years of looking at the pictures you DUmmies post, and after all the pics in the dossiers you guys don't even know exist, you guys are exactly the same as the people you hate. You are fat, ugly, many of you live in squalor, and a good many of you are addicted to drugs. As for "education," I stopped counting how many of you mother****ers can't spell 'hypocrisy' and who still have yet to learn the difference between 'its' and 'it's'. 

But please don't interpret my diatribe as a desire for you to change. If anything, please keep it up, because your arrogance will come in handy in 2022 and 2024.

Reading through the thread, the primitives are falling into the “urban vs rural” abyss. “Urban” is not the backbone of America. They seem to want to learn things the hard way.

I'm an urbanite with an engineering undergrad degree and an MBA. I've never voted for Democrats because their polices are fiscally irresponsible and never work.

Most of my education was in Seattle but that was back when it was a normal place. (Before it was Caifornicated.)

Intelligence is relative to the geography of a person. But I will lay money down that a rural person has an easier time surviving in a city than a city person does in a rural area. Also, if a city lost power for 6 months how long could your average urbanite survive living off the land? Now, who's the intelligent one.

My two cents:

I like it when the libbies put those folks down, cause they simply do not understand why these folks vote against them.

The more they do it, the more they lose elections.  This behavior should be encouraged.

I hope Rs realize that many who voted for Youngkin, et al, voted for issues, not party, IOW, Youngkin, et al, need to do what they said, and Rs better identify themselves by their stances on issues, not the R aegis.
