Did my duty today. Bouncy

Did my duty today.

I actually voted by mail. But I drove by a block near the where a poll is located and saw MAGATS protesting, basically, democracy. I drove by slowly and probably flimm-flammed them with my military ball cap and, essentially being an old white man, because they looked rather surprised with my vociferous bird salute.

Maybe he means he did his duty in a Biden-esque way: in his pants.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Outside the "campaigning limit"?  Probably.  Around here it's 500'.

So, assuming no one's blocking traffic, they could set up and "demonstrate".

What's wrong with that? I usually mail in my ballot on election day. In fact, I'm mailing a ballot today. It only needs to be postmarked by 11/2 in order to be valid.

(WA state is all vote by mail.)

So not actually counted until three or more days after the election?

I'm not sure how many days counting takes but our state law is that it has to be postmarked by election day at the latest in order to be counted as a valid vote.  It does not count any more or less than a ballot mailed in two weeks ago.

FYI: Aside from some miscellaneous county offices, the only items on my 11/2 ballot are whether to repeal or maintain three taxes that our Dem-controlled state imposed "without a vote of the people."  I, of course, voted to repeal them all.

Drove by a bunch of strangers and flipped them off.

Actually sounds more like what a moonbat would actually do than their other bouncies.  Very immature, done from a safe distance, doesn't communicate anything, and was likely ignored and missed by the crowd.

Yeah, this bouncy merits 0 bongs.  In Illinois, the limit of campaigning folks and signs were 100 feet from a polling location.  And even in that deep blue city, there were no activists.  Maybe living my entire life in the Central time zone is different than these activist goons affects my thinking on this issue.  Neither is waiting in long lines.  Everywhere I've resided, have been in and out in no less than 20 minutes, and the 20 was only last year due to the Wuhan restrictions.

Interestingly, went to vote for mayor, city council, and school board early this a.m.  No masks required.  Guess that's the benefit of living in a free state.

Let’s all raise a glass for the dead people and mail-in votes of people who never received a ballot who all checked the box for Terry McAuliffe. There a lot of Dems in VA right at this moment stuffing ballot boxes as their authoritarian overlords have demanded.

One of the guys I work with moved here to Galt's Gulch from Commiefornia back in February or March. He registered to vote here just about immediately after settling in and filed a change of address with the Commiefornia SecState's offce, among other places. All that should have cancelled his voter registration in Commiefornia, but checking on the SecState's website, come to find out he voted in Gavin Pondscum's recall election (much to his surprise - not really).

WA state is all vote by mail and I usually vote on election day. As long as it is postmarked by or on election day it's a valid legal vote. Please explain how that makes me a moron. What's the appropriate date for a non-moronic vote?

In my opinion, ballots that should be considered to be counted are in the possession of the county agency responsible for counting the ballots when the polls close on election day.  This includes ballots cast that day at the polls, received by mail or hand delivered to a polling place or approved drop box or delivered to a representative of the county  agency responsible for counting ballots.

Having  ballots floating out there past the close of the polls opens the whole process to misconduct as new bins of previously uncounted ballots are "suddenly discovered" which conveniently tip the count in the favor of candidate who was previously losing.

Mail in ballots are sent out several weeks prior to the election giving the voters ample time to complete them and mail them in so they will arrive by election date.  If a voter doesn't want to commit their vote early, they always have the option to show up on election day at a polling place to vote the traditional way or to hand deliver their mail in ballot to a poll worker.

I'd go farther. Early voting stops a week before election day, and election day doesn't happen until AFTER the quantity of early votes is known, verified, and made public.
