:hyper: C-SPAN is covering the protestors.  :lmao:

did the anti-war lunatics protest their own convention?  did they register their unhappiness with their congressional leaders who ran on only one issue, ending the war immediately?  and once they got the big offices, that proceeded to do . . . . nothing whatsoever.

NOW there is a old lady wearing a beauty queen sash (I don't know what you call them.  the things that say, "Miss California" on them) that says "women against military madness", and is claiming that US troops are secretly incarcerating children.  and killing them, I believe she just said.

this is seriously funny stuff.

it certainly looks like it.  and this is just an observation, but a disproportionate number of the protesters appear to be, um, very obese.  I'm jus' sayin' . . . . .

I wonder if there is a connection between that and being eternally pissed off about things that you can't do anything about.

okay, NOW some guy spent 5 minutes SCREAMING (and I mean SCREAMING!  like he was being raped or something) about american imperialism and "1,000,000 dead iraqis" . . . . and then he closed his rant by screaming "TRUTH OUT NOW, TRUTH OUT NOW!!!".   I thought it was willpitt for a second.  he did seem intoxicated. :-)

mohammed hassan of an organization called the somali cause, is saying something, but I can't for the life of me understand him.  the guy standing next to him is holding a sign that says "muslims are not terrorist" (sic).

the code pink ladies are there!  they are singing a song called "I am singing for a peaceful world", and one of them is holding what appears to be a large paper mache fish on a stick.  another one is doing what can only be described as the "I am a dorky white chick dance".  but they look much happier than I have ever seen them before.

am I the ONLY person watching this? :-)

This sounds like the same bunch that came to D.C. last October.

LOL! Thanks for the play by play WE.  This is the same bunch of douchebags that I took the kids to stare at on the National Mall last fall.

Both of my kids (12 y/o daughter and 10 y/o boy) did this to all of them all day:
