It is really astounding. Nearly every thread at the DUmp is about Sarah Palin. They have not been in such a single-minded frenzy since their resident sloppy drunk windbag announced the impending indictment of Karl Rove, many business days ago.

It is, though, understandable. The past few days have been an unthinkable catastrophe for the democrat party and the DUmp. First, the Palin announcement obliterated discussion of the glorious ascension of the Obamessiah (pbuh). Then Palin received nearly universal acclaim among the segment of society most hated by the DUmmies: normal people. Then the Obama campaign's most promising weapon, the birth of an infant,  was proven a vicious slander. Finally, the bitter disappointment of Gustav's failure to destroy New Orleans. They are beside themselves, in a blind rage, and the only target they can find is Sarah Palin. If she survives this leftist onslaught, not just from the DUmmies, but from the entire democrat apparatus, no one will be able to question her toughness. But, as a normal person, she is facing a formidable challenge, and deserves our prayers.

The Palin family are quickly cornering the 'everyday people' market - and this terrifies the DUmmies. McCain is loaded. Obama is loaded - Biden should be loaded but isn't (tells me he wastefully spends) but here we have a family who live in a society that demands one be self sufficent, with a mother of five tapped as VP, who has a baby with Down Syndrome, and now a teen pregnancy - yet they persevere.

You could write a friggin' television miniseries about this family. Everybody can identify with this - and can be proud of how this family has dealt with it all. The Palins live in the real world - anything that The One says about his "real world" upbringing has been trumped by this self-identified hockey-mom.

I think their rabid reaction to McCain choosing Palin shows the level of desperation amongst the left. They are shocked, stunned and baffled that such a 'normal' person might be chosen for high office. Sarah Palin has a 'normal' family facing the normal challenges of current day life and yet the left freaks about it. Again, that shows their fear and desperation. I am not a McCain supporter yet I am much gladdened by his choice of Palin for VP. Now if he will just pull his head outta his ass about his open borders bullshit he might earn my vote.

As is his right.  I don't like McCain's stance on the borders either.  His stance and timeline will only wreck immigration for a generation.  This is from someone that would support some immigration reforms if the situation were controlled.

I picked the name MarshallLaw for two reasons, the one you mentioned above and the fact that I'm a Marshall grad.

No connection to the legal profession,though, I have a conscience.

Yeah, I was concerned about this pregnancy stuff for about ten minutes, then realized there are no 'perfect' families living on the face of this earth. The Dems are only making our side more entrenched behind Sarah Palin and her entire family the more they cry about this.

Especially since THEY are the group who has said a woman can do anything - even be President.

No Problem (Seeing how I go to shabbat services 2 Fridays a month and the High holidays when the Rabbi is in town ) Oh, and I forgot Torah study one sunday a month also ...
