A blog entry and pic of a pregnant Palin from early March.

This blogger was in Alaska at a PolarTec Conference March 2 - 9. When returning, she runs into Gov. Palin at the Fairbanks Airport. She writes about the experience on April 27.

Read it. Then let's all seriously consider cooling our jets on babygate. This includes me.

<snip>
Of course I had to check out the “Hottest Governor in the US” and quickly turned to see her pregnant (she has since had her baby) with bags and daughter in tote. Then it struck me as odd. Why is the Governor of Alaska in the airport and preparing to get onto my commercial flight?

I questioned PolarTRECer Craig Kasemodel an Alaskan resident. He let me know that Governor Palin sold the corporate jet after securing her official Governor position.

Governor Pallin said she would sell the jet because it was impractical and that the Alaska state inventory would be relieved of this dept. The jet was sold on EBay to Larry Reynolds for 2.1 million dollars.

Not only is Governor Palin “Hot”, but she is also very kind.

I approached the Governor and told her a little bit about PolarTREC and why I was in Alaska. She told me that she knew of the program and then introduced me to her adorable daughter Piper. We chatted about Florida and Barrow, Alaska and flying commercial. She said she really enjoys and prefers flying with people who either live in or are visiting Alaska. She even flies coach! She was kind enough to take several photos with me.

I vote we all go with the absolutely priceless "Decision Map" posted by TwoSparkles.

Thus far, there's one response to the bonfire, and it's a pretty stupid one.

The primitives might as well give up; while the lives of their vice-presidential candidate, along with those of John McCain and Sarah Palin, have been an open book for years, the primitives should worry more about the unread pages in the book of Barry "Six States" Obama.

Well, there's been six or seven primitives at this bonfire now.

The responses have been just really stupid.

The primitives must've been out to lunch, or stoned, or sleeping off hangovers, when brains were handed out.

You are right, it will not last. A call for sanity at the DUmp is the definition of futility. Among DUmmies, indecency is a virtue. Note the OP wasn't even deterred by his own "call for sanity".

I'm getting annoyed that people actually think they can influence internet board discussions

Who the f*@k is anyone to decide that their value system is in any way the standard upon which people should choose to engage.

Oh, and my favorite, most hilarious sentiment is "it makes us look bad". Yeah, because if "we" behave for long enough maybe we won't be so "underground" any more. Maybe we can become guest panelists on Crossballs or something.

It's hard to imagine anyone at the DUmp having a "value system".

So what you're saying is...

...everyone has to obey your standard about not telling others what their standard might be.

OK, let's get down to cases. DU and Kos are clearly, unquestionably harboring posters who have libeled Gov. Palin. Suppose Palin decided to pursue this: to what extent are David Allen and Markos Moulitsas personally responsible for the tort?

DU is an LLC, which (I believe) insulates David Allen from personal responsibility. Or does it, in the case of libel? I don't know; I'm not a lawyer. Granted, Palin has better things to do than to dignify this sludge, but on the off chance that she wants some payback, what could happen?  It seems to me that she could get an injunction, at a bare minimum.

I have the feeling that the Left just won't let this go until someone raps their knuckles, hard.

In politics it would be unseemly. Not that these fools can't be shown for fools but b/c public figures are supposed to have thicker skins.

Besides, if Gov Palin did sue they next cry you hear would be "LEGAL INTIMIDATION!" Not worth the headache when the net result of this rumor-mongering is a sympathetic bumb in the polls.

Some people need to be legally intimidated. That is the layman's definition of an injuction, isn't it?

Unfortunately, MSNBC has lawyers, so this story won't get on the air. Evidently DU and Kos don't have lawyers, or their lawyers are also moonbats, so it could get interesting if the right person wanted to play hardball.

Andrew Sullivan has completely flipped. His comments about Palin underscore for me why I so deeply oppose gay rights: I am viscerally offended when a man who accepts another man's penis in his anus attempts to convey even the simplest of opinions about motherhood. To extend rights to gays might somehow imply that such people have anything valid to say about motherhood, children, families, or any of the other institutions that comprise Western culture. Andrew Sullivan's counsel would be of value in the impossible event that I need to know which sort of lubricant makes gay sex most enjoyable, or if I find myself lost along the way to a San Francisco bathhouse, or if I am unsure that my trousers are a sufficient shade of fuchsia. Andrew Sullivan once cheekily posted a picture of Dick Cheney in which the outline of his penis was visible through his pants. That is all one need know about Andrew Sullivan.

Check out the completely nonsensical poll:

Yes 73% 3122 votes
No 26% 1148 votes

And people voted on it!  What are they voting for?  "Yes" it's helping or "yes" he should delete it (because it's not helping)?  Dumbass Kossacks.

I saw that last night and wondered the same thing. I think this non-story is pretty much beaten to death. Kos and DU can have a gross-out competition with each other, but not even moveon.org would run with this football, and they're almost as bad as PETA. I don't think anyone who might have voted for McCain is going to change their vote based on a smear campaign.

Obama, in the meanwhile, is on the public record as supporting terrorists and America-haters, the latter of which contains his wife. He's also stupid as a bag of hammers, and cannot complete a thought without reading it off a teleprompter. He thinks Iran is a small country which poses no threat. THOSE are vote-changing issues.

1. This story has grown national legs via the nationally renowned fag, Andrew Sullivan and the even more effeminate Alan Colmes.

2. They diots won't let it go because to do so would mean they were wrong and they are far too invested in their self-images to ever allow that to ahppen.

3. Another reason they won't let it go is because it is the same method of sleuthing they used to deduce Halliburton, 9/11 truth, the Iraq war, Katrina disaster relief, McCain's dalliance, Bush's AWOL, Cheney's attempted assassination of a huning partner and the AIDS epidemic. To confess error on Palin calls their entire methodology into question.

Odd how Colmes made this heroic stand away from TV cameras and Hannity, who would have ground him into dust.

As for #3, exactly my point: Palin's baby is already in the canon of dubious liberal talking points, the ones they use as passwords with each other but which the rest of us scratch our butts at.
