Is this a civil war?
« on: August 26, 2021, 07:48:25 AM »
Inside the Democrat party, I mean. Consider:

* Harris is in charge of the border. She hasn't visited once and the system is on the verge of collapse. While I agree lefty wants border collapse, they don't want it to look like border collapse. It shows administrative incompetence at best and is political poison at worst.

* Harris is in charge passing efforts to federalize elections through the Senate. She lacks the gravitas (remember that word?) to appeal to normal people, she stands no chance of convincing more than a dozen Republicans to sign their party's electoral death warrant. Say what you will about Romney and others, the remainder of the GOP will never tolerate defections on something of this magnitude. That becomes another Harris failure.

* Harris was sent out of country on a photo-op trip during the nation's worst foreign policy disaster. Maybe it's good to not be in the same room as the fan being struck by one projected turd after another in order to avoid the spray, but it means she's being kept out of the decision-making process and she is out of the immediate information loop. No one is going to trust her to say she can suddenly step up and manage foreign policy.

CONCLUSION

Someone is sand-bagging Harris. Maybe it's Harris herself trying to dodge the heavier responsibilities of office -

- but what if it isn't?

What if Biden partisans are seeing her set up for failure to keep her from invoking the 25th or accepting the assumption of office if someone else invokes the amendment or Biden is suddenly incapacitated or rendered politically impotent?

I don't give Harris a lot of credit for intelligence, but I give everyone the benefit of the desire for self preservation. Someone is working against that where Harris is concerned. It all seems too deliberate.

Even worse, she laid a wreath at an anti-American NVA war memorial celebrating the glorious shooting down of John McCain even when aides tried to tell her what it said.  Talk about bad optics.

What a complete disaster this administration has been.

Yes, I have a thread on that. But notwithstanding that pho paus (Ha! Cuz she was in Vietnam! Get it?) she is still being kept away.

By who?

And why?

What a complete disaster this administration has been.

Understatement of the year.

But in response to the question, if there in fact is a civil war going on within the Democrat party--the Democrat party is always engaged in internecine warfare, involving different individuals and different issues--Kamala Harris with fewer resources is probably the losing side.

And don't forget the Democrat War on Women.

I've read various articles that support the idea that the Biden camp (read Jill) hates Kamala-toe. So if Jill hates Kamala-toe, that means that Joe must march to Jill's bidding.

Call it Jill is pulling that particular puppet string.

Why? To keep her from getting the credit that is sure to be gushing out of the media in the aftermath of the biggest foreign policy/military cluster**** since Operation Eagle Claw's failure to bring back the Tehran's hostages. I think Bongino hit the nail on the head when he said that the shift in the media narrative will happen very soon -- within a couple of days at the outset, and certainly by 1 Sep. The media will genuflect and kiss Asterisk's feet. While any sane person can instantly see through the bullshit, there are plenty of useful idiots and people who just don't pay attention to anything except their cell phone. Presto, change-o. Asterisk's poll numbers start inching up.

We can't overlook the fact that the power puppeteers are gonna prop up Asterisk until he flatlines. The resulting shift in the Senate and Kamala-toe's assumption of the throne utterly scares the shit out of the puppeteers.

Ya know, IF this is deliberate it is well played. Are we seeing the hand of Hillary inviting herself into power?

I don't see any reasonable avenue for Clinton to insert herself into the power structure. All Republicans, 2/3 of independents and easily half of the democrats would reject for the obvious power play that it would be.

Apparently "America's Smartest Woman" didn't see the potential consequences of alienating such a broad spectrum of the power-broker class.

Anybody looking at that photo of her waddling across the sands could instantly pick up on the fact that she's done with public life.

While there have been plenty of fat people in politics, that image right there is not only off-putting, it's  :puke: Even she's smart enough to realize that.
