Verrrrry suspicious timing. We hadn't heard a peep from the Democrats about the legality of their recall law but suddenly, when  it appears that their embattled governor Gavin Newsom will LOSE the recall and removed office, we hear the Democrats whining that the recall election law is NOT constitutional. It is so hilariously late in the game to be concerned about the law's  constitutionality that recall ballots have already been sent out.

This is a very strong indication that Newsom supporters have no confidence that their beloved can prevail in the recall election.

Who wants to bet if Larry Elder wins the CA SC will declare the law unconstitutional and demand Newsom be installed. The Left will echo that demand with violence.

Then, as the 2020 fraud becomes increasingly apparent people will demand Trump be the same for trump only the Left will completely change their tune.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Article II, Section 15 of the California Constitution:

Quote
(a) An election to determine whether to recall an officer and, if appropriate, to elect a successor shall be called by the Governor and held not less than 60 days nor more than 80 days from the date of certification of sufficient signatures.

(b) A recall election may be conducted within 180 days from the date of certification of sufficient signatures in order that the election may be consolidated with the next regularly scheduled election occurring wholly or partially within the same jurisdiction in which the recall election is held, if the number of voters eligible to vote at that next regularly scheduled election equal at least 50 percent of all the voters eligible to vote at the recall election.

(c) If the majority vote on the question is to recall, the officer is removed and, if there is a candidate, the candidate who receives a plurality is the successor. The officer may not be a candidate, nor shall there be any candidacy for an office filled pursuant to subdivision (d) of Section 16 of Article VI.

The lawsuit is in Federal, not state court, so the California Supreme Court has no jurisdiction. Hopefully every org involved in the recall effort and every R candidate files to become a party in the lawsuit, so the California AG can't support this lawsuit by taking a dive (the way Jerry Brown did to Proposition 8!).
