Ummmm, OK. Here's a webpage with data about hospital bed usage in Texas,
https://covid-texas.csullender.com (last updated 8/14, when I viewed it). If you go about 3/4 of the way down the page:
* 88% of Texas hospital beds are being used; but only 19% are used by Covid patients;
* 96% of ICU beds are being used; but only 37% are being used by Covid patients.
Here's the page for Austin,
https://covid-texas.csullender.com/?tsa=O :
* 89% of Texas hospital beds are being used; but only 17% are used by Covid patients;
* 99% of ICU beds are being used; 46% are being used by Covid patients.
Based on the daily new cases graph here,
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/texas/ , it looks like new cases have peaked, at about 2/3 of the peak during the winter surge. The daily deaths graph will probably peak 2-3 weeks later, but at present, daily deaths are less than 1/3 of the winter surge peak.
Based on those data, I think that either
KentuckyWoman's

is fiction, or some hospital admin is doing political theater. The idea that a someone would drive to a hospital at shift change time or would leave a sick family member sitting in a car just to yell at nurses is preposterous. I'm inclined to think
KentuckyWoman is the liar in this

, but either way, a Prog lied.
None of the data above is difficult to find, but did any DUpipo think to fact-check the fact-claims underlying
KentuckyWoman's

?
