NYT's Maureen Dowd rips Obama 'orgy,' enraging ex-prez's Twitter admirers

The former president's celebrity-packed birthday bash was more about 'Hollywood whoring' than thanking those who worked for him, the columnist wrote

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd’s comparisons of former President Barack Obama to "The Great Gatsby" and Marie Antoinette were apparently too extreme for many liberal fans of the ex-commander-in-chief on Twitter this weekend.

Many social mediaites suggested Dowd was acting like a "Karen" for penning the critical piece, while others accused her of being "jealous" that she wasn’t invited to Obama's celebrity-packed Martha’s Vineyard birthday party last weekend.

And there was more than a little Trump "whataboutism" in the fast-flying tweets.

She is a pretty decent columnist despite being incredibly liberal.  And this story also proves the axiom: Twitter is an absolute liberal cesspool.

Dowd was dead wrong to make that comparison.

Even after almost 250 years as worm food, Marie Antoinette has bigger balls than Reggie Love's Li'l Bitch...

Dowd's 11-months older than me so she knows about prominent Dems and their petty-identification with Martha's Vineyard & the Kennedy's. 

I imagine she's written similar critiques of Dem elites, at least since the '92 Primaries when the NYT was still regarding Clintons and Carvill as countrified bumpkins.  She seemed to be satisfied with fence-sitting till the Lewinsky-mess, when she suddenly displayed all the characteristics of being brainwashed.
