The big question I have is that since it has been known for months that American troops were leaving Afghanistan, then WHY did the United States leave behind tons of equipment? WHO made the decision to NOT airlift that equipment out of a country that any sentient being could have seen would inevitably fall to the Taliban?

I suspect that is very true.  They might care if we did the right action and nuke any and all that let the allah crap run their terror show.   The allah terror would likely end when the 7th century idiots are all vaporized.
