The biased media

I have had an ongoing "discussion" with my (temporarily) lib millennial son about what is The Truth in media. And, of course FOX NEWS LIES!!!! 

Son and DH had a "discussion" about the explosion of Delta Covid cases, with DH claiming that it is due to Biden's open borders policy and busing illegals all over the country, and we know it because it is conventional wisdom on the sites we read and the channels we watch. Son dismissed it out of hand, so I did a little research. The MSM sites I read claimed that the migrants are being bused to cities where they are loaded on planes and flown back south of the border. So--serious question, how can we know the truth?

Regardless of the media source, journalism - as a profession - is dead, IMHO.

You can't accept ANY source at face value. The only thing you can do is research multiple sources - 3 or 4 at minimum - on any given issue.

The most important thing to any media source isn't journalism - it's money.
