I've been a gearhead since I was a kid. I rebuilt countless engines and transmissions and did some drag racing at Orange County International Raceway when younger.
I fiddled with enough carburetors where I had a good understanding of how they use Bernoulli's principal to draw gas into the engine.
My grandson and I watch a cool channel on YouTube named "Smarter Every Day" where the host who is a mechanical engineer explains how things work often by using a ultra slow motion camera . His recent video explains how a carburetor works and used a transparent carburetor he made with a 3D printer and the slow motion camera. It really does a good job showing how the thing works.
