He's going to be the repub nominee in 2024, so he's going to make sure nothing changes that. He's not going to end up like Chris C.

Not only will he be the nominee, he's going to beat Joementia like a rented mule.

How did he get so far up the Repug chain in order to be considered the 2024 nominee?

Is it just that the people of FL want to get rid of him as their Gov?

Um, no. It's because he has shown REAL leadership during the pandemic. He protected the most vulnerable population, without shutting down the Florida economy.

I said a while back that we need to start fighting dirty. I think we need to start a campaign to connect him to the collapse I don’t care how peripherally that connection might be Michael but it needs to be an easy connection.

The idea that they are only just going to START fighting dirty after what they did to Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, and Judge Bork, not to mention Donald Trump, is totally laughable.

Wow. Where is the self-awareness in posts like these? When it comes to fighting dirty, the dems fling dumpsters full of filthy garbage bags bursting at the seams with disease-ridden shit.

Do not wory, DU. Whether or not DeSantis is in any way responsible for the collapse, you may rest assured that the dems and corporate media ass-kissers will spare no effort in trying to create that association in the minds of voters. They already tried with "#deathsantis".

From W'pedia's bio article, DeSantis served in the US Navy till 2010, then was US Representative from the 6th Congressional District (between Jacksonville and Orlando, well north of the Miami Beach area) from 2013-2018, and then Governor of Florida since January, 2019.

DeSantis never had jurisdiction over Miami building inspections and construction approvals. Not that facts matter to DUpipo, as Stinker demonstrated:

Sounds like Dingy Harry Reid when he claimed that he knew a guy that says Mittens Romney falsified his tax returns.  Never gave any proof, just the accusation (for liberals) is enough.

And regarding pretty much any major city and building inspectors, the county/city controls such corrupt functions not the Governor, and there aren't many run by Republicans.

.....he did hold a "deregathon" summit in 2019. The goal was to cut back on regulations involving building standards, condo board regulations, barbering, construction contracting licenses, veterinary medicine, and other areas. So he could be responsible for problems in the future.

I've seen a few of them trying to push this nonsense.

While it is true a "deregulation summit" was held, the meetings were to streamline the various systems while still maintaining the proper standards and integrity. The primitives, with their limited understanding of the English language, naturally conflate "deregulation" with "reduction in standards and integrity". Their immaturity never fails to show itself.
