Who gives a shit what it is. She Killed it, and probably skinned, gutted and cooked it. Abilities such as this indicate a practical reality that a ghetto rat cannot imagine. That she was sufficiently skilled to maintain a quality and keep a tophy is an additional bonus.

I have always thought that bald eagle tastes a lot like spotted owl, but it's much tougher.

In all honesty, I have eaten whale meat in Japan, and it was excellent. Very lean, like venison, or horse meat. Also, surprisingly, it was not especially expensive.
