One thing you can say about old Sarah to anyone you know who digs the choice:

"John McCain picked his SECOND trophy wife."

There were plenty of experienced women in the GOP that could have been the "woman" pick, who have been on the national stage for years. Name some. He didn't pick them. He picked the cute perky little minx.

Again.

Drill that home. Then you can talk about the first time he did it with his current wife. If they truly are 'values voters' they won't like what they hear.
