 and a state senator for 8 years. And all the other stuff you mentioned. She was major of a town with about 5000 people before becoming governor.

 Ms. Palin did not spend 18 months pounding the pavement campaigning to be president of the United States - she was merely a choice made by a few desparate men to compete against that woman who worked so hard and came so close.

Hillary is the woman who worked her ass off to crack that ceiling, Sarah as done nothing but be appointed in a position chosen by a few people not by 18million voters.

Huh?

He has been a US Senator 143 days.

And his career is completely undistinguished.  He authored no bills of note and has never RUN anything.  She has been Governor of the physically largest state in the US with many complex issues to deal with.

BTW, the difference at this point between the two campaigns is COMPETENCE.  McCain's has it.
