Why does Atlanta shooter go to massage parlors for sex?
He’s claiming he’s been fighting his sexual urges.
Why doesn’t he pick up and kill prostitutes?
His excuse doesn’t add up unless these massage parlors are, in actuality, houses of prostitution.
Patriots owner Bob Kraft argued that these are legitimate massage therapists that he frequented.

He went to them for sex...

2. And killed people at the locations . ....
It appears to be a hate crime.

3. I think we agree that many massage parlors, not just Asian
could be considered houses of prostitution. And really? Bob Kraft is your guide to legit info? That's right up there with believing men used to buy Playboy to read the articles.
His excuse doesn't hold up. How many sex workers and sexually oriented businesses did he pass before deciding to enter an Asian business? And the next 2?
He's been brainwashed by religion to believe men would never sin if it weren't for women and who believes he is completely justified in his actions.
So... he's Muslim?

5. Probability the Atlanta shooter was an incel,... a failed incel,...
.... then realized it was not love he found in the massage parlor but just a cold financial transaction.
He likely resented the fact that he was not found totally irresistible and desirous, and he wallet was all that they loved.
If he went to the places and engaged in sex then he's not an incel, is he...
He's just ****ing crazy.

8. So he kept going to massage parlors and killed those who wouldn't give him sex?

23. More likely he killed those who did.
Because in his warped mind, his addiction was their fault.
yup. Crazy.

37. Well,... rape is not done for sexual desire,... but an expression of power,... overpower the,... sexual partner.
What this Atlanta guy did was the ultimate expression of his power over his sexual partners. But he was very angry,... about what we can only speculate,.. only he truly knows what goes on in the deepest recesses of his mind.
But we do know that during the expression of his power over what he seems to think was his sexual partner(s),... he let his newly purchased gun do his speaking for him.
Rather than rape,... he let his gun be the instrument to express his power over these women he killed.
hint: He is Crazy.

6. One of the other things that really pissis me off
Is this is another huge step back for massage practitioners and massage therapists. The official people who do this type of work for injury and sports massage are getting a bad rap. This is once again giving people the picture that massage is a sexual thing.

Who's fault is it that Asian Massage Parlors are known for being sex places?

10. Have you ever driven through the SE?
Large bill boards advertising 800 sex call numbers and strip clubs are almost every 5 miles along interstate highways. AT least they were a few years back when I made the drive up the coast. It would have been hard for me to have my younger children with all the flesh on display. It is a wonder the whole population is not over sexed with it all. It must be a huge source of income for them to put up with it.

20. Police would rather that prostitution be organized and orderly, rather than chaotic and troublesome

21. I think it should be legalized and regulated and taxed.

13. Prostitution today is done online through sites like OnlyFans.
The more savvy sex workers require screening for their clients along with references.
Street walking prostitution is rare.

28. "Street walking prostitution is rare."
Not really, as least near where I live in Fla there are quite a few in certain parts of town on the streets 24/7 near their drug houses. (I don't live in a great part of town, lol)
Star Member Yavin4 (32,160 posts)
38. Just because there are some streetwalkers in your town...
that does not represent the majority of prostitution. For every one streetwalker in your town, there are thousands operating online.
Additionally, the vast majority of porn is also now online. What people think of as the "porn industry" is slowly giving away to sites like OnlyFans.

26. I'd say they are in fact houses of prostitution..
...the biggest tell was one of them had "Aromatherapy" on their sign, a way to get around the need to have licensed masseuse's
as "aromatherapy" has no licensing.

35. He shot 8 women. Prostitutes or not, shouldnt make a difference.
IF sex workers, it should prompt the debate about how to legalize, regulate, and tax the job (if legit)
If not legit, it should prompt a debate about illegal sex and human trafficking.
If legal and legit, it should prompt a debate about firearms control.
In any case, murder was not part of the above equation, so **** this lock him the hell up. C'mon, republican lurkers, ARGUE WITH ME.
I ****in dare you.
I highly recommend you come over here- We're not allowed to be on 'your' site...
