Shame on me - my first thought was "Gidget Goes to Washington"
Yep, I saw who mccain selected as his VP choice and that was my first damned thought when I saw a couple of her pictures.

First we had "Bedtime for Bonzo" and now we've got "Gidget Goes to Washington".

I feel like I'm in a "Very, Truly, Brady Twilight Zone"

Well, they have us there. No one has ever alleged similarities between Gidget and The Beast.
Let's pray that "Gidget Goes To Washington" has the same fabulously successful 8-year run we got from "Bedtime For Bonzo".

When you get right down to it, Palin is far more accomplished than Obama at this point in their lives. DU can say whatever they like, but that simple fact will reveal itself between now and the election. Mark my words: McCain has seriously hit this one out of the park, and with any luck, the first female POTUS will be a REPUBLICAN woman in 2012.
This signature is intended to remind you that we are on conquered land.

Sir, I said in the SB:  Obama tried to come inside with a fastball, and McCain hit it out of the park.

For all the leftist blather about feminism, remember the first female Prime Minister of Britain was Margaret Thatcher!

I was thinking more like The Unsinkable Molly Brown!

As opposed to Smilin' Joe Biden who went to Washington and never left.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

And a fine woman she was and is for the time she has left on this earth. She's an icon from my childhood, along with Reagan.
