Star Member SoonerPride (9,507 posts) 1. I have always thought that Q was a team of disinformation psyops agents in Russiait isn't one person. It is a team of people attacking the US through a psyops campaign.
Star Member lagomorph777 (21,065 posts) 2. How could it NOT be Russian?Every bit of it looks exactly like Putin's style.
Star Member Eugene (50,812 posts) 3. The Russian troll farm was pushing Q before most people heard of it.GD thread from today: https://www.democraticunderground.com/100215202053If they didn't start Q, they were certainly on the ground floor. From Reuters: QAnon received earlier boost from Russian accounts on Twitter, archives show

The Qanon phenomenon isa fringe political right movement that focuses on portraying liberal political figures as immoral and dangerous. Most of the people that I have met (and I have met a few here in Texas) are older people who feel marginalized and cannot accept that society is changing is ways that they do not agree with. In many cases their lives did not turn out as they expected. They feel like they have lost control of their lives and seem to have a hard time distinguishing fact from fiction even as bizarre as it sounds. Add to that there are always "talking heads" that make a living pushing these kinds of ideas.I don't think it is from Russia or foreign sources but I agree they probably welcome it. I think it is domestic thinking and it does have real consequences.IMO, I don't view is a whole lot different from religion - maybe slightly more wacky but if you believe in a magic man in the sky you will probably believe just about anything.
Star Member Silent3 (10,565 posts) 14. While I'm sure the Russians are mind-****ing with us one way or another......I sometimes wonder if they need to bother. We have more than enough home-grown gaslighting, propaganda peddling, and general nutbaggery to come up with Q and Jewish space lasers and robotic Bidens all on our own.
Star Member Stinky The Clown (62,907 posts) 17. YesAnd not "probably". For sure.
Star Member skip fox (18,404 posts)Could Q be Russian?
That Putin guy sure is crafty.
Just don't understand the fascination with russia. You'd think the du would embrace the greatest attempt at their ideology better than this
they are still focused on the fake russia collusion fantasy yet don't see the unholy xiden/china alliance right in front of their noses.
Many/most of them probably still believe that G. H. W. Bush flew an SR-71 to Paris to sabotage Carter's Iranian hostage negotiations. DU-grade Progs' confirmation bias is impervious to facts and reality.
