Little lull this morning before the traditional streaking around like a headless chicken buying last minute stuff before I go A' Journying.
Made the last of the fresh ground Kona this morning and it is doing a wonderful job of prying the eyelids apart.
I have to shop for my Mancub today because I am going to be missing his 7th birthday.

The wife told me to get him something cool for a present though and I am going to be looking at X-box 360's later today. He has been vibrating in place for the chance to play Lego Indiana Jones. He kicked butt all the way through the Lego Star Wars series.
I thought I was done traveling for the year and I am not too thrilled to be hitting the road for another chunk of time. The older I get the more that I come to value the very simple pleasures in life. Laying next to my wife in bed with both cats curled up with us. Grooving on the kids interacting and being silly. Watching the sky as the sun sets on the back deck. All the little smells and sounds and squeeks of our house.
The stupid little things that make us a home and a family.
I really love my life. It's funny how easy it is to lose track of that sometimes.
